Sustainability and the Environment

Pharma Deutschland has responded to the growing resonance and importance of the topic by setting up a working group (WG) on sustainability. This working group is open to all interested member companies who wish to actively participate in the promotion of sustainable practices within the pharmaceutical industry.

A central concern of Pharma Deutschland and its members is the reduction of pharmaceutical residues that end up in the environment, particularly in bodies of water. This issue is being worked on intensively in order to minimize the environmental impact of pharmaceutical products and thus contribute to environmental protection.
