Use Pharma Deutschland for networking, whether at our annual summer party, the general meeting in September or the numerous information and discussion events to which the largest industry association invites you.
We are Pharma Deutschland
We are a healthy, constantly innovative, highly relevant industry with strong added value. We are now ensuring that we are perceived as a leading industry in the healthcare sector, in politics and by the public. The support of our members and those who want to belong to Pharma Deutschland is our most important success factor!
Because only by presenting a united front can we succeed at the political level. And only by tackling challenges together can we continue to set global standards in the future. Let's show that together we can make a difference!

We are networking the healthcare system
Future-oriented pharmaceutical industry
Demographic change and the fight against widespread diseases are making the industrial healthcare sector – with pharmaceutical manufacturers at its core – a future-oriented industry. These companies already employ around 1.1 million people in Germany, and their annual gross value added significantly exceeds the 100 billion euro mark.
We are convinced that the better the industry is networked in all its diversity, the easier it is to drive innovation in Germany, develop common positions and help shape political decisions. With this in mind, Pharma Deutschland has high-performance offices in Berlin and Bonn, manages six regional associations and is networking even more closely than before in Brussels with its own representative office.
Our new structure
Pharma Deutschland: 6 state associations, 2 branch offices, 1 office in Brussels.
- Fast and comprehensive information on all important current developments, decisions and plans
- Representation of your interests in Brussels, at the federal level and in the federal states
- More direct access to politics at all levels
- More intensive networking with each other and with other stakeholders in the healthcare sector
- More diverse options for getting involved in the association's work
- Strong political and communicative representation of the industry

Use our networking options
Pharma Deutschland is where the debates are held. Where the decisions are made that significantly influence the German pharmaceutical industry.
We are in regular contact with the G-BA and the relevant ministries. We participate in discussion formats such as the Industrial Health Care Industry Round Table at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection and the top-level talks at the Federal Chancellery on pharmaceutical policy, and we initiate a wide range of discussion formats with parliamentarians at all levels on current topics in pharmaceutical policy. In doing so, we closely involve our members and share experiences and insights mutually.
We are THE voice of the pharmaceutical industry
Where we see a need for political action
Pharma Deutschland works for around 400 members. However heterogeneous the structure in terms of turnover, number of employees or product portfolio may be, they are all united in their desire for better political framework conditions.
Three issues are the particular focus of attention:
- Excessive price pressure, which acutely endangers the supply of medicinal products and medical devices to patients throughout Germany.
- Location factors that make it increasingly difficult for companies to research, develop, produce and launch (new) products.
- Scepticism towards innovation, which slows down the opportunities for medical progress.
What we want to fight for with you
This situation is unsatisfactory. Let us work together to improve it.
